Maryland Agricultural Land Preservation Foundation

Current and Recent
MALPF-Related Legislation

The Maryland Agricultural Land Preservation Foundation's program is very closely tied to State statute.  Every year, different aspects of the program are subject to public discussion and revision during the legislative session.  This page provides links to summaries of the bills introduced affecting the program each session and their individual fates.  During the legislative session, the Foundation staff tries to summarize new proposed legislation affecting the program when it is introduced (the summaries address, when appropriate, how the bill will affect MALPF), as each bill progresses through the General Assembly during the session, and to the ultimate disposition of each relevant bill.
